We target to train 1,500 WASH champions in comprehensive social behavior change communication (SBCC) to reach 500,000 people in informal settlements, markets, and schools with adequate COVID-19 messaging. KIWASH is also training county health teams to conduct risk assessments and response programs. In addition, we are collaborating with county governments, development partners, and the private sector to fill resource gaps. This will help to address gender barriers facing women and girls and those with limited access to water and sanitation services.
